Back by popular demand! Aside from teaching dance, Lindsey is also a licensed physical therapy assistant with extensive knowledge of anatomy and body systems. She is excited to bring you this course which combines the best of both worlds to help your body be the best it can be, and as safe as it can be. Strength imbalance and poor flexibility not only inhibit how good your technique will look, but also puts you at risk for injury. Having good flexibility will greatly improve your range of motion with your movements and prop work, and making sure that your body is strong will help to deepen your isolations and technique. Knowing your anatomy and how the movements connect to our muscles as well as how the nervous system is acted upon when we dance, will help you better connect to your body and improve your expression of the dance. This class is appropriate for both dancers and non- dancers alike.
